Cheap Custom Computers
Back in the early days of mankind, one caveman decided to paint his cave. That was the first try to customize something, at least the first one I can think of. Well, probably it happened earlier, with some cavewoman's clothes, but I am not going to argue with myself now, since all I want is to arrive in the 21st century with the story...
Today, a very hot topic for most technology addicts is customization. If it's not about the features of a device, it's surely about its looks. After all, who can be proud with a phone looking exactly the same as 2 million others? That's why you can engrave it, get a custom case, set your beloved one's picture as a wallpaper, and so on, but...what about computers?
There are more areas to look at when talking about custom computers, and if you also want them to come in cheap...the subject becomes really, really, really interesting. Why? Well, it seems we have to take out from the start the likes of Alienware, Voodoo or WidowPC, because those integrators offer awesome customization possibilities, but for a (pretty high) price.
OK, so we take out custom build computers you can order...what's left? Obviously, you can do it yourself! Leave fear aside, search the Web properly to figure out what components to choose, find a case, monitor and peripherals to match(you don't want to have a black case, a white monitor and a gray keyboard, together with a pink mouse and red speakers, do you?), buy them, and then put all together. If you can't handle it, call a friend to help you. If you don't have a friend to help you, then get one!
At last, once you properly built a custom computer, there's one last step required - to find some downloadable Windows XP skins and fine tune the looks of your desktop. After all, it's all about look and feel when using a computer, right? That will surely make your computer "feel like home," and since we're talking about skins, which are usually free to download and use, this also goes perfectly right into the "cheap custom computers" category.
Just remember this: to get a cheap custom computer, you need to spend some time to find what you really want, wait for the hardware to arrive, put it all together, and then customize the OS as you wish. It may seem hard, but it's not, all you need is some time to spare, and the courage to do it!
